**Job Description: Clinical Nurse II S (PRN)**
**Position Overview:** We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Clinical Nurse II S to join our Pediatric Infusion and Testing Center team on a PRN (pro re nata/as needed) basis. We are located within University of Maryland Medical Center on the Downtown Campus. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality nursing care, demonstrating clinical expertise and a commitment to patient-centered care in a dynamic ambulatory clinical environment.
**Key Responsibilities:** - Deliver comprehensive nursing care to Pediatric patients 21 years and younger in accordance with established protocols and standards. - Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans. - Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately. - Monitor patient conditions and report any changes to the healthcare team promptly. - Collaborate effectively with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes. - Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatments, and post-discharge care. - Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care activities. - Adhere to infection control policies and safety procedures. - Participate in ongoing professional development and training. -Flexibility to train and work in other pediatric ambulatory settings on site
**Qualifications:** - Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license. - Minimum of 2 years clinical nursing experience preferred. - Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities. - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. - Flexibility to work PRN shifts as needed. -Experience with IV placement and phlebotomy required -BLS required -Pediatric Nursing Experience Required
**Work Schedule:** - PRN 8am-430pm
